Invasive Species Workshop

𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽
Saturday, February 19, 2022
8:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Resident volunteers have recorded more than two thousand hours of service clearing our pathways of air potato vines, Japanese climbing fern, nandina, elephant ears and more. But there is still a lot to do.

This Invasive Species Workshop will explain the issues, identify the worst culprits, and provide removal opportunities for an even greater number of volunteers to participate.

The event is presented by The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department and sponsored by The Texas Invasive Species Institute at Sam Houston State University, Woodlands Water Agency, The Woodlands GREEN, HEB, and Alspaugh’s Ace Hardware.

➡ 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁. Sign up at https://bit.ly/33qiSD6 and a link to the online class will be emailed to you.
