StoryWalk® “The Golden Acorn”

Bring the family to stroll through our self-guided and educational storybook walk-through on our trails.

In collaboration with Crosby Edith Fae Cook Cole Branch Library, our spring StoryWalk® will be featuring “The Golden Acorn” by Katy Hudson. Enjoy the great outdoors while reading through an educational, interactive children’s book. StoryWalk® is an ~.5 mile hike on gravel and boardwalk trails.

Where: Beginning on West Prairie Trail (Boardwalk west of park road)
Bring: Comfortable hiking shoes and the family.
When: This interactive story book will be up from Jan 1st – Jan 31st 2022. It is accessible during park hours, 8am-5pm everyday.
